Avah's friend, Kalen, got a new bike for her birthday. Of course, she wanted to give it a try. I guess I know what we will be buying this summer!!

Doctor's Report

My fluid level is still low, but it hasn't gotten any lower. So...I have to stay down until Tuesday when I go back for another ultrasound. Then she will induce me on Wednesday or Friday. I will definitely be pushing for Wed., but I guess it depends on her schedule. It is exciting and scary to know that we will have another baby in a week or less!! Ready or not....here she comes!

Baby Update

Let's try this again....I've typed it 3 times and it keeps freezing up when I try to send it!

I went to the doctor on Tuesday and found out just how quickly plans can change. I had an ultrasound to determine if the baby is still breech and see if I was going to have a C-section. Good news....baby has turned into position and no C-section. But, my amniotic fluid level is very low and I am already dialated to 3 cm. So.....I have been on strict bedrest...only up to go to the bathroom and shower (it may sound fun....but it's not!!). I go back in the morning to recheck my fluid level. She wants me to make it to 37 weeks before delivering. I will be 37 weeks next Thursday. At the ultrasound on Tuesday, the baby was already 6lbs. I'll post tomorrow after the appt. (unless she admits me to the hospital).

BTW, baby girl finally has a name!! It's Jenna Kate.

Children's Museum

Avah went to the Children's Museum today with 3 of her friends. They had a blast! Enjoy the pictures.

Easter

Here are some pictures of Avah from Easter. She was sick on Friday night and Saturday (just a little virus and she hasn't been sick in 8 months..so I can't complain!) so we did not get to do the Easter egg hunt at church on Saturday. She was feeling better on Sunday, but we still didn't take her to church. So, Jason and I went to separate services. Not quite the Easter we had planned, but we still got to color eggs and go to Nana's for lunch with the family. She was so excited to find that the Easter basket she has been playing with for a week actually had some goodies in it!





After watching her cousins play baseball, she wanted to give it a try. After a few practice swings with dad, she was able to hit the ball herself! Sorry Liv...but she may be a ball player after all!!!

SNOW!!

We finally got a big enough snow to actually need a snowsuit!! I know that 3-4 inches does not sound like much, but it is to a 2 year old. Avah had the best time playing out in the snow. We didn't have a sled, but she enjoyed going down her slide and then continuing to slide across the snow. Avah and Daddy made a snowman and she was able to make 2 snow angels before running out of fresh snow! She also liked eating the snow...her snow tasted like blueberries and mine tasted like strawberries (at least that's what she told me)!
