Pigtails

Avah's first pigtails!! Her hair is finally long enough to put in pigtails and she was loving it. She did pull them out and lose the rubberbands about halfway through our trip at the mall, so she had some seriously wild hair the rest of the trip. But, it was cute while it lasted!!

Daddy's Birthday

Here are some pictures from Daddy's birthday. He was out of town on his birthday, so we surprised him on Friday night with a cake (made by mom and decorated by Avah), balloons and presents. It was a fun time and Avah loved playing with all the balloons.

Little Helper

Avah has become quite the little helper. She loves to cook, vacuum and do laundry. I know it doesn't look like it, but she really is a big help. I can get the dishes done by letting her play with the dustbuster in the kitchen and she puts the clothes in the dryer for me. (Things take a little longer, but it is worth it!) I just hope that she wants to help me this much when she gets older!

Wagon Ride

We have finally gotten to take the wagon for a ride (other than around the living room!!). Avah loves going for a ride to feed the ducks at the pond in our neighborhood. She also likes taking her friend Zach with her (he lives next door, so when you ask her if she wants to go for a walk she says "Zach".) They have a lot of fun riding together. Hopefully we can go soon without the coats and hats!

Strike a Pose

This girl is full of herself!! It is hard to get her to sit still for a picture these days, but when she does she is usually striking a pose!!

She is so busy and learning something new everyday.
She is talking up a storm and her favorite words are "open" and "oh, man". We are loving watching her as she is learning what this world is all about!
