Disney on Ice

On Friday night, we went too see Disney Princesses on Ice with my friend, Sarah, and her daughter, Kayla! The girls dressed as Sleeping Beauty, complete with fancy hair, fancy shoes, and makeup!

St. Patrick's Day

Avah went to the cabin with Daddy on Friday night and Saturday, so Jenna and I got to spend some quality time together! We decided to head downtown Lexington to watch the St. Patricks Day parade and enjoy the warm weather! We went with our friend, Erica, and her twin boys, Jason and Evan! It was a great day!

Daddy's Birthday Cake

For Daddy's birthday this year, Avah and I decided that we would make his cake and attempt marshmallow fondant. She loves baking and is such a great helper in the kitchen. I am working hard on letting go of control when the girls are in the kitchen with me!! I decided that I would let Avah make all the decisions on decorating this cake. After I colored and rolled out all the fondant, she cut out all the shapes and put them on the cake. She is so creative (something that she doesn't get from me!) and we had such a great time making this cake....I see lots more cake making in our future!

Curly Hair

The girls got their hair curled and fixed after getting it cut last week. It is hard to see in the pictures, but it was so cute! And, of course, Avah didn't want her picture taken!
