I guess Christmas wore Jenna out!  This is first time she has fallen 

asleep somewhere other than her bed or carseat!

We had to make a trip to the ER around noon on Christmas Day.  Avah fell down and bit through the inside of her lip pretty bad (there was a lot of blood)!  Thankfully, she didn't need stitches but it made for a long, exhausting day.

Christmas Morning

After we saw what Santa brought, Mammy, Uncle Nate and Jamie came over to eat breakfast and open presents. We always have Strada, monkey bread and fruit for our Christmas breakfast. We put a candle in the monkey bread and sang Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus (sorry no pics because Jason took a video instead of a picture)! It is important to us that the girls know the true meaning of Christmas!!

Santa Came!

Jason and I were actually up and showered before the girls even got up on Christmas morning! Jenna woke up about 8:45 and then we had to wake Avah up! They were so excited to see that Santa came and brought them lots of fun stuff. Avah has been questioning how Santa knew to bring her the things she wanted ever since Christmas. She keeps saying that she only told him the sick doll and nothing else. Then she will ask Jason and I if we told him the other stuff!! I don't think she will be fooled for much longer :(

Christmas Eve

After Christmas Eve service at church, we go to Papaw and Grammie's for the evening. They fix a yummy meal and we have fun exchanging presents and playing with the girls. They are the only kids so far....so you can imagine the spoiling that takes place!!

Christmas with the Cousins

We enjoyed a fun evening over the holidays with Jason's brothers and their families. The girls loved getting to play with the cousins!

Christmas Cookies

We made Christmas cookies with Mammy and our friends, Natalie and Anna Mae. The girls had a great time making a mess....I mean cookies! Avah spent hours decorating her cookies...she really takes it seriously. Jenna even enjoyed adding some sprinkles!

Gingerbread Houses

Avah has remained friends with a few of the kids from her class last year. We got together to make Halloween cookies and again to decorate Gingerbread Houses. They had a great time!!
