Avah's School

Avah's school had a Birthday Party for Jesus as her Christmas party.  Each class rotated between rooms and did a different activity.  I worked with two other moms reading/telling The Nativity Story.  It was a really neat activity similar to the Resurrection Eggs.

Opening her gift from her teachers.

Each child wrote on a piece of paper what they would give baby Jesus for his birthday and then put the paper down by the manger.  Avah said that she would give him a pizza!

Getting ready for Santa

Avah's Christmas Program

Here are some pictures of Avah in her Christmas Program. It was hard to get good pictures because it was dark and we were not very close. She did a great job!

Thanksgiving Feast

Avah had a Thanksgiving Feast at her school last week.  Jason was off work so he was able to go with us. We enjoyed getting to spend some time with Avah in her classroom!

Showing us the turkey call she made.

Birthday Party

Avah's birthday party was at a gymnastics place. She loved it! Here are some pictures of the fun!

Avah's Birthday

Avah woke up on her birthday with the request of chocolate chip pancakes with 4 candles in them!

And then she got to open her present from Mom and Dad!

A "big girl" doll!

She wanted candles in her sandwich for lunch, as well!

The Berenstein Bears

Michael Berenstein came to our church to read his new Thanksgiving book. The kids brought their lunch so we all had a picnic and listened to the story. After the story, he showed us how to draw the bears....he is an amazing artist! And of course, Mama Bear and Papa Bear made an appearance!

Trick-or-Treat

We spent Saturday night with our friends the Thomas's. The kids had fun trick-or-treating and playing. We ate yummy lasagna and then watched the CATS! It was still a great evening, despite the loss!

The Candy Corn Witch and the Ladybug!
(it was too cold for Jenna to wear her witch costume)

Pumpkin Patch Party

Our church had a Pumpkin Patch Party on Thursday night. They had pony rides (no pictures because Jason and I had both girls on the ponies at the same time), funnel cakes, hay rides, inflatables, a play, games, and more. The girls had a great time!
