I found a recipe for these pumpkin faces and thought it would be fun to have for dinner this week. It is an open face sloppy joe on a flattened biscuit with a cheesy pumpkin face. I am not a big fan of sloppy joes, but they were quick and easy and something that Avah could help make. As you can see, she was very proud of them! (We made "mummy dogs" on Sunday....but I forgot to take pictures of them!)

Eating Cereal
Here is a video of Jenna's first time eating cereal. Of course, Big Sis wanted the honors of feeding her!! She likes her cereal and has since had sweet potatoes and peas, both of which she really likes!! She really notices when people are eating and will try to grab the food or plate if it is close to her. I almost wore my bowl of cereal the other morning!

Bi-Water Farm
We decided to try out Bi-Water Farm on Saturday. It is only a few miles from the house and daddy was at the cabin for the weekend. I had heard that they had lots of fun stuff for kids to do...and they did. Mammy went with us and we all had a great time.

Evan's Orchard
We went to Evan's Orchard in Georgetown last Sunday. It was such a beautiful day for the pumpkin patch.....80 degrees and sunny. They had a playground with a straw castle, corn maze, slides, etc. You could also ride a camel (which Avah wouldn't do....not because it was a camel but because a man was holding the rope to lead it around....she doesn't like men right now!), ride ponies, feed some animals, and go for a wagon ride. We also got to pick some apples from the trees. Jenna slept almost the whole time we were there. She did wake up at the end to pick out some pumpkins.....she got the tiniest one thanks to big sister! It was a great family day!
New Toy
Circus
We took the girls to the circus a few weeks ago. We went with our friends Joe, Anna, Sophie, and Izzy. The girls had a great time. Avah really wanted some cotton candy ( luckily it came with a hat since it was $12)! She didn't like it at all...so mom got to eat it! We got to the circus an hour before it started so we were able to see the animals outside before the show. We also got to see a pre-show of the circus on the floor before it started.
