She was so excited to FINALLY get to play in the snow.  Her and daddy shoveled the driveway, threw snowballs and went sledding.  She is anxiously waiting for daddy to get home today to go sledding again!

Avah and Crosby

Avah's friend from school, Crosby, came over to play one day last week on a snow day.  They had a lot of fun playing dress-up, kitchen, and dollhouse.  We also got a musical performance! As you can see, Avah was quite the little show-off for the camera!

Ready or Not....Here I Come!

Jenna is on the move! She has not figured out how to crawl forward yet, but she is good at going backwards. She is also pulling up on everything and scooting everywhere. It is funny to watch her rocking on her hands and knees. Since Avah never crawled, she never really did this!

Jenna's New Trick

Jenna has discovered a new trick with her tongue. She started doing it on her own, but now likes to mimic when we do it to her. This was the best video I could get because she usually stops doing whatever she's doing when she sees the camera!

Christmas Morning Part 2

Soon after seeing what all Santa brought, we had our Christmas with Mammy, Uncle Nate and Jamie. They came over for our usual Christmas breakfast of Strada and Monkey Bread and then we opened up presents. 

This is what Mammy got for the girls.  Avah was so excited!  We were able to hide it from her until after breakfast (which was a hard task since it was in the dining room!)

Christmas Morning

We had a busy, but wonderful, Christmas! We woke up to see that Santa had been to the house. Avah's reaction was not at all what we expected. Instead of going to her bike (which is all that she had asked Santa for) or her dollhouse, she went straight to Jenna's toys and said "Jenna you got a new baby doll and stroller." She made sure that Jenna knew what Santa brought her. I think that Avah was in shock that after all the talk of Santa, that he really came and brought her what she asked for. You could just see the wheels turning in her head!

At first she didn't want to ride the bike because she said that she had to wait until Spring!  But she quickly changed her mind when we said that she could ride it around the house!
