Avah Singing

Here is a video of Avah singing "Jesus Loves Me". She knows the whole song but I could only get her to sing the first two lines (Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so) because she was laughing. She has just started singing and she is always performing one of her songs. It is so cute!

Pool

We went to the pool last week with Avah's friends, Hunter and Addison. As you can see, they all had a great time swimming and playing together. They are all about the same age so it is neat to watch them. Avah wanted to wear her "kini" (that's bikini in Avah language) that day....I guess she wanted to get some sun on her belly!

Music Class

Avah has been going to music class for the past several weeks. It is a program called Musikgarten. She is in the class for 18 mo. through 3 years and she is loving it. They sing songs, dance, play with scarves,and play instruments (drums, sticks, and shakers). Last week was picture week so the teacher took some pictures of the kids in action.

Having Fun

We are having fun this summer....as you can tell by the pictures. She loves to accessorize (hats, sunglasses, necklaces, hairbows) but she still likes to play outside and help daddy water the flowers. She is talking ALL the time and does not miss one second of what is going on around her. I think we shop too much because she gets her shopping cart and tells us where she is going shopping. Her favorites are Target and Kroger!

Beach Baby

Avah's first trip to the beach. It was very windy and a little chilly, so we didn't get much time in the water (or much sun!!) but it was still fun.
