Merry Christmas!!

As you can see, Christmas Day proved to be busier than Christmas Eve. Avah must have been good last year because Santa brought her kitchen!! She was one excited little girl on Christmas morning. She didn't get up until 8:30 ( I know that won't happen next year!!) and we told her that Santa had come. Her first question was "Did he eat my cookies?". Her face lit up when she looked over the banister and saw her kitchen. Her response was "He brought me my kitchen!" After seeing what Santa brought, Mammy, Uncle Nate and Jamie came over to eat breakfast and open more presents. Mammy brought Avah the world's largest stocking....and yes, it was full!! We then headed to Nana's house for more food and more presents. She enjoyed more time with her Aunt Liv and all her cousins. We made a quick stop by the nursing home to visit her great-granddaddy. Avah loves going to visit him and everyone there really enjoys her visit. She hams it up for everyone and plays the piano for them. We ended the day with dinner at the KC Hall with Jason's dad's extended family...there are too many people to have it at someone's house. Needless to say, we didn't make it there very long because we had one tired, cranky and over-stimulated little girl on our hands. We put her PJs on before we left and she fell asleep around 7:30 and we didn't hear a peep from her until about 8:00 the next morning!! We didn't even get out of our PJs the next day.....we just played and had a lazy day!
